House Clearance and Deep Cleaning
We provide a service to cleanse and sanitise ‘dirty houses’, void properties and end of tenancy properties, to remove general refuse, human and animal excrement, furniture, fixtures and fittings returning the property to a liveable condition or allowing workmen to carry out essential repairs to the property. Alongside this service we will also fumigate properties where necessary.
As part of refurbishments or general maintenance, we offer a service to cleanse a variety of properties, buildings and structures, car parks and footpaths, using special nozzles to remove even the toughest grime and dirt. For areas with difficult access, such as the top of bridges, we have extendable lances, making every area within reach.
We hold a waste carriers licence and all waste is disposed of at a registered waste transfer site in line with UK law and legislation. Where possible, we always try to recycle.

Over time, areas can become neglected, over-grown and out of control. As well as this, our technicians are also NPTC qualified in the application of herbicides to treat weeds in areas such as car parks, footpaths, roads, paddocks, amenity areas, forestry plantations and railway embankments. Rodent Control
Rats and Mice are a major problem throughout the UK. Their presence can instantly destroy a companies reputation. Rodents, in particular Rats, have the power to transmit numerous diseases and infections such as Salmonellosis, caused by bacteria of the salmonella group and is one of the most widespread of animal borne diseases, others include Leptospirosis (Weil's Disease) which is thought to be carried by around 50-70% of rats and may result in the loss of human life. Parasites carried and transmitted by rodents also include mites, fleas, tapeworms and ringworm.
If left uncontrolled, rodents can damage property and buildings which can be expensive and also poses a threat to public health. Rodents have to gnaw constantly in order to keep their ever-growing incisor teeth at a manageable size, they frequently gnaw through electrical cables and water pipes potentially causing fire risks and floods. At Suddenstrike Ltd, we believe that prevention is better than cure. We will conduct a comprehensive site survey in order to compile an Integrated Pest Management System tailored to meet your needs and maintained by a Pest Control Service Agreement, providing you with the highest level of protection and detailed records to make sure that you comply with UK law and legislation.
All of our technicians are fully trained, qualified to BPCA Level 2, insured and experienced, giving you piece of mind knowing that the job is being done by professionals. As a company we are members of the British Pest Control Association (BPCA) and the National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA).
Insect Control
Fleas, Bedbugs and Property Fumigations: Fleas are commonly associated with void properties, especially where the previous tenants have had pets. Not only can Flea and Bedbug bites be painful and a nuisance, but as blood feeders, both Flea’s and Bedbug’s have the potential to spread infections and diseases to various hosts including workmen and new tenants. Suddenstrike Ltd offers a service to fumigate and treat properties for both Flea’s and Bedbugs making properties safe for workmen and new tenants.
Wasps, Bees and Ants: Wasps and Bees pose a significant threat to public health and safety especially when they are in large numbers at schools and public places; they can both inflict a painful sting that often results in an Anaphylactic shock which can be life threatening. Bees are not protected by law, however, they are a beneficial insect and their numbers are on the decline. At Suddenstrike we will always try to remove Bees and relocate them where possible. Using an insecticide is only ever a last resort. Although Ants will bite in order to protect their nest, the main problems caused are from the contamination of food stuffs, they can also be a nuisance especially in large numbers when foraging or during the mating swarms.
Woodworm, Casual Invaders & Stored Product Insects: In properties where refurbishments are being carried out, woodworm may be present in the joists and the fabric of the building. A prolonged infestation of woodworm can make a building structurally unstable. We offer a service to treat woodworm saving the cost of having to replace the infested timber itself. We also treat properties for mites, stored product insects such as beetles, and casual invaders such as moths in properties that have been left neglected and where a build-up of food and household refuse has accumulated.
Flies, Insect Screens and Electronic Fly Killer Units: Insects
such as flies are a nuisance and can compromise public health and hygiene.
Under the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2006, flies causing a
nuisance must be controlled. As well as controlling flies, we also supply
and install Insect Screens for doors and windows, and Electronic Fly Killer
Units including killgrid and sticky board units.
